Want a pioneering career focusing on creating a sustainable future? Already working in the battery sector?

We celebrated Battery Day on Monday 19th February 2024.

#FaradayBatteryDay 2024 online event

The Faraday Student Committee hosted an online event on Monday 19th February aimed at STEM undergraduate students, to highlight the diversity of career opportunities available in the battery sector.

This year’s event saw a great turnout, with around 100 undergraduate attendees from universities all over the UK!

Watch as the electrifying speakers shared:

  • what inspired them to pursue a battery-related career
  • what a day in the life looks like as a PhD researcher or battery scientist
  • advice they had for undergraduates starting out in their battery career
  • the importance of making the most of the opportunities available to you, including speaking to lecturers, applying for internships, and connecting with people in the industry on LinkedIn.
