Future Power Train

The Future Propulsion Conference (FPC2022) is a two day UK event created to bring together industry and academic experts within the propulsion development field. It will feature presentations and discussions on the solutions to the challenges faced by the engineering industry in the UK and internationally over the next ten years.

Hear from members of the Faraday Institution community at the event:

  • Prof Greg Offer, Imperial College London, Principal Investigator of the Faraday Institution’s Multi-scale Modelling Project, will be making some opening remarks on both days
  • James Gaade, Head of Programme Management, Faraday Institution, will be chairing the session on Battery Application at 14:30-16:00 2nd March
  • Two Faraday Institution Research Fellows working on the Multi-scale Modelling project are presenting in the Battery Modelling session at 16:30 – 18:00, 2nd March: Dr Ferran Brosa Planella, University of Warwick – “PyBaMM: An Open-Source Python Library for Battery Modelling” and Dr Simon O’Kane, Imperial College London – “Lithium-ion Battery Degradation: How to Model it”
