IOP Public Lecture: Is the battery really THAT powerful?

Daily, we rely on batteries, but have we ever truly pondered their power? In this lecture, delve to the depth of current understanding and ask: Is their power still sufficient for our needs, or have they become overwhelmingly potent and beyond ethical consideration in their evolution? Indeed, what aspects, and in what manner, should we continue to use them?
