Sodium-Ion Technology Research Innovations and Key Enhancements (STRIKE) Symposium, 30th August to 1st September 2023 at Swansea University

Sodium-Ion Technology Research Innovations and Key Enhancements (STRIKE) Symposium

30/08/2023 - 01/09/2023

Did you know that sodium-ion batteries can be more environmentally friendly due to the use of sodium as a widely available and naturally abundant resource? Learn how this technology aligns with sustainability goals at this first Sodium-Ion Technology Research Innovations and Key Enhancements (STRIKE) Symposium.

Held at Swansea University’s Great Hall, this three-day event will bring together leading researchers and industrialists from around the world to discuss the latest advancements and future vision towards commercialisation. The symposium will open at 12pm on 30th August with a half day of talks. All attendees are then invited to the opening BBQ social event in the evening. The second day will commence with a full schedule of talks and a bookable evening gala dinner. STRIKE 2023 will finish at 2pm on Friday 1st September.

STRIKE 2023 is also an opportunity for you to hear about the exciting developments in the field of battery research in South Wales and the blossoming opportunities in sodium ion technology, in academia and industry.

Hear from Faraday Institution researchers and invited speakers Professor Emma Kendrick, Professor Jawwad Darr and Dr Robert House, and make sure to say hello to our Research Project Manager, Ben de Laune, who will also be in attendance.
