FutureCat | Secondary Electron Hyperspectral Imaging to characterise chemistry and morphology of cathodes

University of Sheffield

Supervisor(s): Dr Cornelia Rodenburg

I am characterising cathode materials such as NMC811 in pristine and charge-cycled condition using secondary electron hyperspectral imaging (SEHI). This LV-SEM technique can reveal surface chemical bonding information which might help us to understand how reversible capacity is lost with increasing charge-discharge cycles.
