Becca received her master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford. She is currently undertaking a PhD focusing on controlling oxygen redox in high energy density cathode materials linked to the CATMAT project, under the supervision of Prof Robert House, Prof Saiful Islam and Prof Sir Peter Bruce. Environmental issues motivated Becca to apply for the Faraday Undergraduate Summer Experience (FUSE) internship in 2022, which in turn inspired her to focus on battery research for her PhD and future career.
